Terms & Conditions for Booking, Payment and Cancellation Policy

Online appointments:

  • can be booked via my website and need to be paid fully at the time of booking

  • a Google Team link will be sent prior to the appointment

  • can be cancelled up to 24hrs for a full refund

  • non-attendance without prior notice will not be refundable

Face to face appointments:

  • can be booked via the website contact form or at hello@mariemartheblanc.com

  • the appointment will take place in Bath but the exact location will be discussed at the time of booking

  • full payment of the session to be made ahead of the appointment by bank transfer

  • can be cancelled up to 48hrs for a full refund

  • if cancelled within 48hrs, only 50% will be refunded to cover the incurred costs

  • non-attendance without prior notice will not refundable

Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information to provide and improve products and services for clients are:

· Consent - we have permission from you after we gave you all the relevant information. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to object. To be clear, you do have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

· Contract – we have to collect or use the information so we can enter into or carry out a contract with you. All of your data protection rights may apply except the right to object.

· Legitimate interests – we’re collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability. Our legitimate interests are: to create Sophrology sessions with appropriate exercises in order to support my clients' needs as accurately as possible, I need to collect information about their medication, medical history if relevant to our sessions, family situation, personal (e.g. sleep patterns) and professional situation (type of job, hours of work in a day, routines) and hobbies.

Personal information as outlined above and collected to provide Sophrology Sessions to any clients will be kept and stored for 7 years, as legally required by my insurance company.

Who we share information with

· Third parties: if appropriate and with my clients' consent, I could contact their mental health professional (psychologist or psychotherapist).
